概率论与数理统计研究所

概率论与数理统计研究所隶属中国人民大学统计学院以及教育部重点研究基地中国人民大学应用统计科学研究中心，主要从事概率论与数理统计方法、理论及应用研究。研究领域覆盖随机分析、生物统计、复杂数据分析、金融工程与风险管理的理论与方法研究。

研究所主要以中国人民大学统计学院目前从事概率论与数理统计理论与应用研究的优秀教师和部分海外知名专家组成。

研究所将根据学院的发展规划和国际概率论与数理统计学科的发展趋势确定重点研究内容。研究所采取开放式管理模式，为中国大陆、港澳台以及海外广大从事概率论与数理统计理论与应用研究人员提供研究与交流平台，加强与国内外相关研究机构和专家的联系，开展多种方式的合作与交流。提升中国人民大学在相关领域研究的水平及国际性。欢迎有致力于概率论与数理统计研究人员加入本研究所。

近5年来本所研究人员在国内外许多一流刊物发表论文百余篇，主持多项国家自然科学基金、国家社科基金、教育部人文社科重点研究基地重大项目、教育部科技重点项目、 企事业单位委托项目多项，取得了大量有学术价值和应用价值的科研成果。

Probability and Mathematical Statistics Institute is affiliated to Center for Applied Statistics of Renmin University of China. Institute is mainly engaged in probability theory and mathematical statistics, both in theoretical and applied aspects. Research areas cover a stochastic analysis, biological statistics, complex data analysis, financial engineering and risk management theory and method.

Members of the institute are teachers of School of Statistics, Renmin University of China, who are engaged in probability and statistics, and some of the overseas well-known experts in related fields.

The institute will determine the key research trends in the content based on development planning of the school of statistics Renmin University of China, and international probability theory and mathematical statistical disciplines.

The Institute will adopt an open style of management and provides a research and communication platform to strengthen cooperation with domestic and foreign research institutions and experts. Furthermore it will carry out cooperation and exchanges in a variety of ways for mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas the majority in probability theory and mathematical statistical theory and application of research. Promotes and enhances research in related fields and international level of the school and the University.
